  • When do we make our READY NOW commitment?
    Sunday May 6 is our Commitment Service.  On this special Sunday, we will complete our Commitment Cards and together in unity commit to what God has laid upon our hearts to give to the READY NOW campaign.
  • When do I bring my first READY NOW offering?
    Sunday May 20th is the first day of our READY NOW giving season.  On Sunday May 20th we will give our first READY NOW offering.
  • What is the significance of our first READY NOW offering?
    Our first READY NOW offering will be significant in many ways.  We are expecting God to move through us to give a miraculous amount in our very first offering.  As God moves upon us to give in our first offering, we will accelerate our ability to break ground and start building.  In our first offering, many people will give their first monthly offering, some will also give an annual offering, and God may indeed bless many to be able to give a portion or even all of their one time offering.
  • How do we properly complete our Commitment Card?
    Remember, the first box we complete on our Commitment Card is our total commitment.  This is the total and miraculous amount that God is placing on your heart to give to the READY NOW campaign.  The remaining boxes include,
    – the specific amount you plan to give per month,
    – any specific amount you plan to give one time a year,
    – any specific amount you plan to give in a one-time offering, and
    – The amount you’re trusting God to provide to enable you to give the amount of your total commitment.
    The best way to understand this approach to our giving is by completing the Income Discovery Planner, specifically, page 18 will provide the amounts to place on your Commitment Card. You can also visit our Commitment Card Calculator page for additional help.
  • Why is our giving being broken into monthly, annually, and one-time gifts?
    The foundation of the READY NOW campaign is faith.  Our giving in and by faith can manifest itself practically in multiple ways.  A very practical way to give is to look at offerings from a monthly perspective, an example might be giving from our employment income.  Another practical way to give is to look at offerings from an annual perspective, an example might be giving from an annual bonus or a tax refund.  Yet another practical way to give could include a one-time offering, an example might be from the sale of an asset or an offering from savings.
  • When are we going to break ground and start building?
    As we give unto the Lord and He multiplies blessings to us to continue to give, we will be positioned to build.  This is one of the reasons our first offering is so significant.  We can accelerate our building initiative by giving liberally as the Lord provides.  You could say that we are moving at the “speed of money”, by faith!  As God moves upon our hearts to give, we must have faith that we can break ground well before our 36-month giving season concludes.
  • Are there details about our new building that aren’t final?
    Yes.  There are details that are not finalized.  This is why your prayers are so needful.  We are asking for God’s favor with the city, zoning commissions, contractors, and everyone that He will send our way as part of our building process.  We have had in-depth meetings with our architectural partners and have represented our sanctuary capacities and the footprint of our building and parking facilities with great diligence.  Our furnishings and the finishing touches of our plan are forthcoming.  We know that God is going to bless us through and for our faith.  
  • Who will know what I commit to give?
    Your commitment to the READY NOW campaign is between you and God.  We will share the miraculous grand total amount that the church as a whole commits to give – and together, we will celebrate the great faith that God has filled our hearts with, but at no time will anyone’s individual commitments be shared.  Your commitment will be treated with the same sacred privacy that your tithes and offerings are today.  Individual commitments will remain confidential.
