Tree of Life Church

Gladys E. Roberts, of Dillonvale, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the age of 87. She was born June 4, 1935 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late Ira and Cora (Mounts) Estep. Raised in the Appalachian mountains of Phelps, Kentucky, she met and fell in love with her late husband, Morris J. Roberts, who was raised just across the river in West Virginia. As a young married couple, they moved to the Cincinnati area where they raised their boys in Dillonvale.

Loving mother of the late Ira Steven, Scott (Julie) and Morris “Shannon” Roberts; daughter-in-law, Nancy; grandmother to Kaitlyn, Claire and Hannah Roberts; and sister to Adam (Ethel) Estep. Devoted church member of Tree of Life Church in Montgomery where she often visited members and provided many of her beloved Bundt cakes throughout the years.

Gladys always enjoyed collecting and organizing the many family photos; reading her Bible and other inspirational books; and traveling with her girlfriends on cruises through the Caribbean. Gladys was fond of the South and embodied many southern hospitality qualities. We have been blessed by her happy, grateful and loving spirit.

Visitation will be from 9 AM until the time of service at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Interment will follow the service at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Online condolences may be shared at www.MRFH.com
