Loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Vicki Matthers was a long time educator with the Cincinnati Public Schools. She passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 67 years of age. Thank you for your prayers for Michael and Amanda Benton and family.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Greater Emanuel Apostolic Temple (1150 W Galbraith Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231)., with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the Spring Grove Cemetery.

Elder Clarence Gordon, the father of Sister Marchell Short and Sister Denise Gordon, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2018. Born on May 20, 1936, he was 82.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church, 1150 West Galbraith Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Internment will be at the Landmark Memorial Gardens, 500 Oak Road, Cincinnati, OH 45246.

Hilda Bradley passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. She was 86.
Hilda was the beloved wife of the late Roscoe I. Bradley; the dear mother of Sharon K. (Paul) Smith, Danny Bradley and the late Shirley Crawford; the grandmother of Sean, Chris, Eric, Sheila and Ashley. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, and was the sister of Beulah Trailer, Roy Jones, Betty Hagdon, Gary Jones and the late Milford, Ray and Carl Jones.
Visitation will be held at the Tree of Life Church, 6477 Cooper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242, on Friday August 24, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. Her home-going service will be on Saturday August 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the church. Both the visitation and the service will be in the church’s annex building.

Michael Younger Sr., former Vicksburg, Mississippi resident, died August 15, 2017, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was 59.
He was a graduate of Warren Central High School in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Class of 1976, and a former member of Bethlehem MB Church.
Preceding him in death was his daughter, Tasha Johnson; mother, Ernestine Younger; and a sister, Gloria “MooMoo” Chin.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Ruth Younger; children, Michael Younger Jr., Zion Younger, Candra Johnson, Denekqua Johnson and Kachira Johnson, all of Cincinnati; father, Felix Younger Sr.; and siblings, Felix Younger Jr., Huey Younger Sr., Juanita Bell, Margaret Neal, Herscine Brown, Annette Younger, Janette Younger, all of Vicksburg and Shirley Butler Vance of Grand Rapids, Mich.
Memorial services will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 in Cincinnati under the direction of Spring Grove Funeral Home.
