Galatians 1:6-9 (NLT)

6 I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who called you to himself through the loving mercy of Christ. You are following a different way that pretends to be the Good News 7 but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who deliberately twist the truth concerning Christ. 8 Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you. 9 I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.

Y Saúl respondió: Porque vi que el pueblo se me desertaba, y que tú no venías dentro del plazo señalado, y que los filisteos estaban reunidos en Micmas, 12 me dije: Ahora descenderán los filisteos contra mí a Gilgal, y yo no he implorado el favor de Jehová. Me esforcé, pues, y ofrecí holocausto. 13 Entonces Samuel dijo a Saúl: Locamente has hecho; no guardaste el mandamiento de Jehová tu Dios que él te había ordenado; pues ahora Jehová hubiera confirmado tu reino sobre Israel para siempre. 14 Mas ahora tu reino no será duradero. Jehová se ha buscado un varón conforme a su corazón, al cual Jehová ha designado para que sea príncipe sobre su pueblo, por cuanto tú no has guardado lo que Jehová te mandó.

If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

16 Porque el Señor mismo con voz de mando, con voz de arcángel, y con trompeta de Dios, descenderá del cielo; y los muertos en Cristo resucitarán primero. 17 Luego nosotros los que vivimos, los que hayamos quedado, seremos arrebatados juntamente con ellos en las nubes para recibir al Señor en el aire, y así estaremos siempre con el Señor.

1 Pero acerca de los tiempos y de las ocasiones, no tenéis necesidad, hermanos, de que yo os escriba. 2 Porque vosotros sabéis perfectamente que el día del Señor vendrá así como ladrón en la noche; 3 que cuando digan: Paz y seguridad, entonces vendrá sobre ellos destrucción repentina, como los dolores a la mujer encinta, y no escaparán. 4 Mas vosotros, hermanos, no estáis en tinieblas, para que aquel día os sorprenda como ladrón. 5 Porque todos vosotros sois hijos de luz e hijos del día; no somos de la noche ni de las tinieblas. 6 Por tanto, no durmamos como los demás, sino velemos y seamos sobrios.
